President Barack Obama has recently given his annual back-to-school speech that has had many positive outcomes from the fourth graders at Manor Elementary School. President Obama stated the many reasons why staying in school is both helpful and useful for most students currently attending school or deciding on dropping out. It was his opportunity to speak directly to the students across the country. Obama stated the facts of studying, working hard, and how taking responsibility for your own actions is the most priceless, fulfilling action you can do for yourself.
These are the word’s stated by Obama as aired on major networks live from Wakefield High School in Arlington County. “A world-class education is the single most important factor in determining not just whether our kids can compete for the best jobs but whether America can out-compete countries around the world. America’s business leaders understand that when it comes to education, we need to up our game. That’s why we’re working together to put an outstanding education within reach for every child.” He is stating that the students across the nation need to understand that their education is the greatest gift that will last them a lifetime.
Obama stated multiple times how treating others with respect and dignity will get you far in life and will help develop morals and standards in your life. He said to get out there, discover new passions, and acquire new skills that will help with the future ahead. Taking risks is one priority that will help get your name out there. Making mistakes and learning from them will also show you that it’s okay to be wrong for once. Planning and being organized is the biggest factor that can help with any decisions or future choices you make. With the right attitude, you too can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
