The Monroe High School freshman football team score is (3-1) with 8 more games to go. Will they have a flawless season?
The freshman team is improving constantly; they practice every day after school and they are learning new plays. They are also spending plenty of time watching films after each game.
“No matter the competition, keep pushing through till you come up on top,” Freshman Guard Reuben Green said.
The biggest thing about football is getting discouraged while trying to do your best when you are down on points. If you keep working hard and trying your hardest. No matter what, you get stronger together as a team.
Coach Alexander said, “Perfection is impossible to achieve, but it’s a good goal to strive for.”
Coach also said that he was proud of the freshman team and to keep it up at practice and continue working hard.
Mr. Foley, the 9th grade principal encouraged his students to “continue to work hard on and off the field.”
