Monroe’s 2022 Tree Lighting

Monroe’s Annual Tree lighting is set to take place this Friday, November 18, 2022 in Loranger Square downtown. The whole of the event will run from 4 p.m to 9 p.m with the tree lighting at 7 p.m. Additionally, Monroe’s Hometown Holiday Lights will be unveiling new displays at the tree lighting, bringing nostalgia and holiday spirit to the people.
There will also be a number of vendors, entertainment and activities for all ages to enjoy. Entertainment and activities will include;
● Vintage Market vendors (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
● Visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus (5:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
● Reindeer viewing (5:30 PM – 7:30 PM)
● Horse drawn wagon rides (5:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
● Live nativity scene (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM) brought to the people by Heritage Baptist
Church
● Children’s activities (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM) provided by Monroe County Library System
Dorsch Library, Monroe Family YMCA, Monroe County Great Start Collaborative and
numerous other local businesses.
● Food Trucks (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
● Christmas carols and music throughout it all
The whole of Monroe is so excited to host everyone, come join us downtown in Loranger Square this Friday for these wonderful Christmas festivities!
