Fashion is one of the most popular ways people express themselves. Each season has its trends of “what’s in” and “what’s out.” Social media helps people keep in touch with popular trends. With the new spring seasons arriving let’s see what social media says are the 2022 spring fashion trends. 

Halter Tops 

Halter tops (originally known as bathing suit tops for women in the 1940’s are going to be a 2022 spring trend. Big retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Pacsun, and Amazon sell many halter tops with many different designs. You can wear halter tops with jeans, shorts, and/or skirts. The average halter top is around $30. The best thing about halter tops is that you can dress them up or down. 

Fanny Packs

Fanny packs can be fashionable and useful at the same time. Fanny packs can be good to use to go with an outfit, but also good if you are walking around somewhere and don’t want to carry your possessions around. Fanny packs can hold your keys, chapstick, sunscreen, etc; perfect for spring break! 

Bold colors 

Bold colors are nostalgic for the 80’s and are coming back around! Hot pink, neon green, and bright blue are just a couple colors that could spice up your spring wardrobe. Wearing a bold colored top with white jeans could really make your outfit pop! We are seeing more and more of bold and neon colors throughout the seasons. 

Crochet Tops

Crochet tops are the perfect thing to put on your spring break wish list! Crochet tops come in many different colors and designs and give off the perfect beachy/spring look. With crochet tops coming in crop tops, tank tops, short sleeves, and long sleeves, you could really wear one even if you’re not going on spring break. 

Oversized sweatshirts 

If you step foot in any high school, you could probably find at least fifty kids who are wearing oversized sweatshirts. Not only are oversized sweatshirts comfortable, but not many trendy retailers are selling their own. Oversized sweatshirts can be worn with leggings, sweats, and/or shorts. Leaving oversized sweatshirts as a comfortable and stylish outfit for your spring collection.

Matching sets 

Matching sets have made a comeback, that could be from all the YK2 inspired fashion. Many retailers offer matching sets, so it wouldn’t be hard for someone to buy their favorite set. Matching sets can be worn to school, gym, airport, etc. It is perfect for that last cool days of spring.
