The Buccaneers beat the Packers 31-26 to advance to the SuperBowl

The Buccaneers had an explosive first half scoring 21 points, one of them being a 39 yard touchdown with one second left in the first half. The Packers struggled a bit offensively in the first half. Packers were only able to produce one touchdown drive in the first half and were unable to get the run game going in the first half. At halftime the Buccaneers lead 21-10.

The second half started with a bang with the Buccaneers defense forcing a big turnover on the Packers side of the field which turned into an 8 yard TD pass from Cameron Brate. The Bucs lead 28-10. The game was looking like the first time they played in week 6 where the Buccaneers won 38-10. But, the Packers fired back, scoring 13 unanswered points and making it a one possession game. The Buccaneers responded with a field goal, and the Buccaneers led by 8 with over 4:42 seconds left in the game. Then after the Bucs got a big 3rd & goal stop the Packers made a very questionable decision by kicking a field goal with only two minutes left making the score, 31-26. The Buccaneers ran out the clock after a pass interference call which gave them the first down.

The Buccaneers win 31-26. The Buccaneers are making it to their second SuperBowl appearance, and Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is making his 10th Super Bowl appearance. Aaron Rodgers is now 1-4 in conference championships.

The Chiefs beat the Bills 38-24 to advance to the SuperBowl for the second straight year

After a 3-0 start by the Bills an early muffed punt by Chiefs returner Mecole Hardman, turned into a 3 yard touchdown pass from Dawson Knox. A missed extra point keeps the Bills lead at 9. The chiefs responded with a 21 point run in about 13 minutes. Just like that the Chiefs were up 21-9. The Bills got a field goal right as the half expired to cut the lead to 12 at half, but missed an opportunity to score a touchdown and cut the lead to one possession.

The Chiefs got an opening drive field goal to take a 12 point lead. The Bills drove right down the field but again we’re unable to get 6 points and had to settle for a short field goal. After the Bills were unable to score a touchdown on that drive it seemed as if Buffalo lost all the momentum in the world. The Chiefs extended their lead as they scored two touchdowns in a row to take a 38-15 lead. The Bills got some garbage points in the end, but The Chiefs won the game with a dominant second half.

The Chiefs have won the AFC Championship game two years in a row and will make their second straight trip to the SuperBowl. The Bills had too many missed opportunities, to beat a team as good as the Chiefs.

The stage is set the Chiefs will take on the Buccaneers Sunday February 7th, in Tampa Florida in the SuperBowl.
