Netflix’s ‘Cobra Kai’ is worth watching

Netflix’s Original “Cobra Kai” is a spinoff of the famous Karate Kid movies. Netflix put the first two seasons out in June 2020. Kobra Kai is a series about Daniel and Johnny all grown up. This show was a real hit at the beginning because many people who liked the original Karate Kid movies knew the original actors who played Daniel and Johnny who were in it. In January 2021, Cobra Kai season 3 came out and many people said it was “better than the other seasons,” and that it was.

Season 3 consists of 10 episodes, all ranging from 27 to 41 minutes long. Almost all of the episodes end in a cliffhanger, which was a little different from the other seasons because they grabbed your attention more and kept you at the edge of your seat the whole time.

The acting in the show can be very cringey at times, but it was bearable in the third season because there was a valuable lesson to be learned, which was that it is good to visit the past but you can’t live in the past. There are a lot of flashbacks, which can be very confusing at times, but they did a very good job of transitioning from the present to the past with no confusion.

Something that wasn’t very impressive about this season is how some scenes were very unrealistic. There were many times where major things happened that people would normally call the police on but they didn’t. I think they could have made those scenes to be a little more realistic, but it’s not too unrealistic to the point where I wouldn’t want to watch it anymore.

The new season is definitely way better than the other two. It has gotten a lot of attention since it came out and I would say it deserves the hype it’s getting. Getting through the acting can be a little difficult, but other than that, I would say it’s worth the watch.
