On Oct. 2, a bus of people going to a Biden support event from Pflugerville to Austin, Texas was stopped on the interstate and boxed in by trucks of supporters of President Trump. The bus of people was on their way to hear former vice president Biden speak and urge his supporters to take place in the last day of early voting for the state of Texas when the incident took place.

There were over 100 vehicles at one point during the trip that made the bus have to go as slow as 20 mph to keep the bus safely on the road. It has been reported that the people called themselves the “Trump Train” and were screaming insults and profanities at the bus as they formed a blockade on the interstate.

Though Biden and Kamala Harris were not on this bus, other officials such as Wendy Davis were on this bus on the way to the event.

Trump said in a tweet that he does not believe any wrong doing occurred during the encounter.

“This story is false, they did nothing wrong” Trump said (The Guardian).

Biden said that nothing like this has happened before with the incident and president’s reaction.

“We’ve never had anything like this, at least we’ve never had a president who thinks it’s a good thing,” Biden said (CNN).

The incident is currently undergoing investigation by the FBI on whether it was in fact a harassment case. Trump said the incident should not be under investigation because he believes nothing bad happened and other investigations should be happening instead.

“In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong,” Trump said. “Instead, the FBI & Justice should be investigating the terrorists, anarchists, and agitators of ANTIFA, who run around burning down our Democrat run cities and hurting our people” (NBC news).
