The Phoenix Theatre of Monroe reopened Friday, Oct. 9, to the public. Currently, the theatre is showing old and new titles for viewers to enjoy. Here is a list of the options for viewers to go see at the theatre.

Infidel: Infidel is a newly-released movie starring Jim Caviezel that follows Infidel as he is kidnapped and goes on trial in Iran for spying on the Iranian government. His wife, played by Claudia Karvan, goes on a mission to save her husband before it is too late.

The New Mutants: The Mutants is a horror film that follows five teenage mutants as they undergo treatments for the anomalies that are within them. They soon realize that their worst nightmares are becoming reality when they start to question the reasons they are actually being held.

Tenet: Tenet follows John David Washington as his character goes on a dangerous journey to manipulate time in order to stop the events of World War II from occurring. The spy will have to go through many hurdles to prevent the War from ever happening.

The War With Grandpa: This is a comedy movie that follows Peter who has to give up his bedroom when his grandpa moves into the house. Peter will do anything to get back the one thing that he loves the most and no limits are too high.

Unhinged: Unhinged follows a single mother in a traffic jam who honks her horn at the car in front of her. What starts as normal road rage turns into a terrifying escape as she realizes the person behind her has a plan to get revenge.

Coco: Coco is a Disney movie set in an imaginary town in Mexico where Miguel and his family live. Miguel just wants to play music though it is forbidden by his entire family. This movie takes viewers through the Mexican holiday, Day of The Dead, while Miguel discovers the reality of his family and himself.

Hocus Pocus: This throwback film takes place in Salem, Massachusetts, when Max Dennison accidentally revives three witches, The Sanderson Sisters, on Halloween Night. It is then up to Max and his sister to stop the sisters from becoming immortal.

The Empire Strikes Back: This continuation to the famous Star Wars films follows Luke Skywalker as he is taken through his ultimate battle with the Dark Side and Darth Vader that will test his strengths and the force that is within him.
