Rutgers(1-2) at #20Michigan(2-1)-12 p.m. on BTN

The Rutgers Scarlet Nights are traveling to Ann Arbor on Saturday for a Big Ten east matchup. Michigan is favored by 27.5 points, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index. Thais number is lower number than usual, however, Michigan has been struggling lately and just came off an ugly loss to Wisconsin 35-14. One of the reasons for Michigan’s recent struggles has been the offense’s inability to score, and they have  been turning the ball over to frequently. Michigan has nine turnovers this season so far which is the 119th worst in college football. Michigan’s run defense has also been struggling, giving up 689 yards in three games. Even with all these struggles, they still have more talent than Rutgers; they are better coached, and because they are embarrassed after that loss to Wisconsin, they are going there to take that out on Rutgers.

Indiana(3-1) at #25 Michigan State(3-1)-3:30 p.m. on BTN

The Indiana Hoosiers are Traveling to East Lansing for Michigan State’s homecoming game. MSU opens up as a 14.0 point favorite, according to ESPNs Football Power Index. MSU won last years matchup 35-21. But Indiana hopes to come in to Spartan Stadium to get revenge. Indiana went 3-0 in non conference play but did lose their first Big Ten game vs Ohio State. MSU comes into this matchup off a 31-10 win against Northwestern. MSU has a top ten defense, but their offense has been very inconsistent this year. For example, when they played Tulsa, they only scored one offensive touchdown, but the next week they played Western Michigan and they put up 51 points. I do think MSU will win this Saturday against Indiana.
