2017 Winterfest Court Winners

Darby Klemz said she feels fantastic after winning Freshman Winterfest Queen. She said she was surprised that she won because she felt her competition would get more votes. Klemz would like to thank the junior class for putting on such a great Winterfest week and her parents. Her favorite part of being on court was the skits at the Pep Assembly. Klemz said she had a perfect night at Winterfest.

Gavin Walker said he feels proud after winning Mr. Legs. He said he was surprised that he won because he had great competition. Walker would like to thank his mom and friends because without them, he wouldn’t be who he is today. His favorite part of being on court was feeling like a good role model. Walker said he had an enjoyable time at Winterfest.

Karah Bowman said she feels super happy after winning Sophomore Winterfest Queen. She said she was surprised that she won because everyone on court was awesome. Bowman would like to thank everyone who supported her. Her favorite part of being on court was making the skits. Bowman said she had a good time at Winterfest.
Bailey Shipe said he feels great after winning Mr. Legs. He said he was surprised that he won because he didn’t think he was going to win. Shipe would like to thank all of the people who voted for him. His favorite part of being on court was performing in the skits. Instead of attending Winterfest, Shipe went skiing with some of his friends.
Grace Wood said she had an excited feeling after winning Junior Winterfest Queen. She said she was surprised that she won because another candidate had the same friend group as her. Wood would like to thank her friends for supporting her. Her favorite part of being on court was being able to walk out with her mom. Wood said she had a lot of fun at Winterfest.
Trey Eberline said he feels cool after winning Mr. Legs. He said he was surprised that he won because out of all the candidates, he was chosen to win. Eberline would like to thank his parents, his brother, and all of the people who voted for him because without their vote, he wouldn’t be Mr. Legs. His favorite part of being on court was wearing the sash and hearing the crowd cheer for him as he walked through the assembly. Eberline said he had a great time dancing with his girlfriend at Winterfest.
Shaylah Wright said she feels super cool after winning Senior Winterfest Queen. She said she was surprised that she won because she thought one of the other girls would win. Wright would like to thank the senior class for voting for her. Her favorite part of being on court was being with her friends throughout the week. Instead of going to Winterfest, Wright stayed home and watched movies.
Jacob Banks said he feels great after winning Mr. Legs. He said he was surprised that he won because the other candidates were his friends. Banks would like to thank the people who voted for him, the other candidates, and Kennedy Adams. His favorite part of being on court was the Pep Assembly. Banks said he enjoyed his time at Winterfest.
