Students continue to wear summer clothes through winter season
February 6, 2017
Every year, there’s always a group of guys and gals who wear shorts, skirts, and tees, even though it’s only 20 degrees outside. They need to be stopped. Seriously, it’s freezing outside and people are willing to give up their warmth and their comfort for what? To have a cute outfit?
I understand why people want to go for a cute look; there’s tons of reasons, but doesn’t it just feel better to be comfy and warm in sweats or pretty much anything else for that matter? Some people get up early just to get ready and find the best outfit for school even though nobody really cares. Everyone at school woke up early and just want to go home and go back to bed.
Other times, people wear shorts because they’re comfortable or they’re not bothered by the cold. While the person themselves might not be cold, everyone around them is shivering just at the sheer sight of them. Shorts are comfy, but not when it’s 20 degrees out and a lone person is wearing them while everyone else around them is all bundled up and ready to be out of the cold and warm again.
People wearing short clothing during the cold months is a problem, albeit a smaller one. Although, some people find short clothes in the winter to be cute and/or comfortable, the majority don’t. Just wanting to be warm and comfortable, not really caring if it’s cute or not is the way to go because as long as you’re warm, no one’s going to care what your outfit looks like. Instead of putting on those shorts or that tee, go ahead and put on those sweats, treat yourself, be warm, be comfy and most of all, be happy.
