Everyone is raving about a new movie that will make you emotional and jumping for joy all at once. Miracles from Heaven is a very human-feeling drama that is still all about God’s priorities — His choices and His timing. Whether you are a faithful target audience or a non-believer this true story will make it very hard to hold back tears.

The movie is based on the 2015 memoir by Christy Beam, whose daughter, Anna, suddenly suffered from a rare intestinal disorder, and suddenly was cured in the craziest ways. Much of what makes the film work is the lovely emotionally demanding performance by Jennifer Garner. The other characters in the film are played by Kylie Rogers (Anna), Eugenio Derbez (Dr. Nurko), Brighton Sharbino (Abby Beam), and Martin Henderson (Kevin Beam). Another actor who made a big impact in the movie from her humor through the pain and suffering of the beam family is Queen Latifah (Angela).

The movie tells the story of a normal family whose youngest daughter starts suffering from an intestine disease with no cure. The family tries to see a doctor who is the best with young children. The doctor is booked up for several months. The mother of Anna will not stop until her daughter is seen. They travel to Boston every other week once they are able to have this doctor work with Anna. All Anna has left is time and with the family never losing hope, strange things happen as Anna is cured and the disease happens to just go away. The movie is a tear jerker because you are always hoping it works out in the end.
