Bullies bring nothing but immaturity

Fighting is becoming more and more common within the schools and that is just ridiculous. Fighting is an immature way to solve problems. People need to grow up and learn to use their words. That is something people should learn in the first grade, so why is a big issue in high school? Yes. Bullying is always a big deal and needs to be dealt with, but physical fighting, really? You hit a point where you need to stop the immature back behaviors of adolescence and grow up.

Someone’s going to get seriously hurt one day because people can’t solve their petty arguments. I mean, honestly. What good does it do to inflict physical pain on a person. Does it really make you feel good? Is that really what makes you happy?

People need to learn how to deal with people. By fighting, they are just hurting themselves. It makes no sense to me why people fight to fix their problems, because it just causes more problems for themselves. They get suspended and in possible trouble with the law. Do you really want a criminal record because you didn’t get along with someone when you were a teenager? How does that benefit anyone? It doesn’t. It truly makes no sense.

The bystanders don’t help the problem either. Don’t just stand there and encourage it. Put your camera away and report it. It encourages the behavior and makes it seem like it’s okay, but it’s not.

Also, other people around you have to now sit and listen to the little lecture about “Preventing Violence” because some kid went and threw a punch. So by fighting, the other students get penalized, and that’s not cool. I know that when it comes time to do the “team building activities” and talking about how others should be treated, I hate listening to that. It gets said so often, and it is just common sense. You don’t fight people in schools, or anywhere for that matter. It distracts others from their learning, and teachers have to take time out of their schedules to address the problem that never should have existed in the first place, and the students that don’t fight have to sit through that same boring lecture about violence and bullying. It’s dumb and can be easily avoided if students would just grow up, get their acts together, and use their words.
