After being nominated for homecoming court this year, senior Blake Cosby said it is quite an honor to be on court but it really is a lot of work, time and effort.
Not only do you have to put yourself out there so you can get votes, but you also have to create a skit and perform it in front of the whole school.
He said he’s really excited for the game and homecoming itself because he feels that’s then it will be all fun and no work.
Cosby said he likes the theme this year because it’s “Bright lights, big city” and his favorite city is New York City. He said he couldn’t give too much away about his skit, though.
“Dancing and Beyoncé are the only hints I will give,” he said.
Off the topic of homecoming, Cospby said after college he wants to attend Michigan State University for business and marketing.
Cosby said his favorite MHS memory is, “Definitely spring break junior year in myrtle beach… But, I have a feeling that’ll change after spring break this year because we’re planning a trip to Cancun, Mexico.”
As much as Cosby blows it off, he really does want to win he said.
””It really will top off my last year at MHS,” he said.
