There are numerous haunted houses to choose from this Halloween season. But the question is which one do you want to go to? Nothing too far away in upper Michigan but somewhere relatively close in southern Michigan.
There are a couple of haunted attractions nearby to give you a scare. There are also a few that you may have to travel about twenty to thirty minutes to to get you there.
One that is located in Monroe is Heck of a Haunted Barn, located 4309 W. Albain Rd. This haunted barn is open Friday- Saturday from 7 p.m. – 12 a.m., but on Saturday it closes at 10 p.m. The price range is from $10-30.
Located in South Rockwood on Haggerman Rd. is Woods of Darkness. It’s open on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. -11 p.m. However, the last weekend for it was Oct. 25 and 26.
Phantom Forest Hayride is located 21803 W. River Rd in Grosse Ile, Mich. The price for the tickets is $10 for adults, and kids five and under are $5. This attraction ends Oct. 30, the hours are extended for Halloween week and it’s closed when raining.
At Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, is an event that is happens every year during Halloween called Halloweekends. Halloweekends has six haunted attractions, including: Cut Throat Cove, Carnevil, Cornstalkers, Fear Faire, Blood on the Bayou, and Maniacal Mechanical Screamworks. The price to get in Cedar Point can be as low as $38.99.
