Sophomore Josh Goodman was amongst the various nominated male students to be candidates for the 2013 Winterfest Mr. Legs here at Monroe High. As excited as Goodman is, he was surprised by his nomination. Yet he does in fact, like every other nomination, hope to win.
The outgoing and intelligent student explains that his biggest accomplishment within his high school experience so far would be his excellent grades. However, good grades are not something new to this focused sophomore. Unlike most teenagers however, the sophomore student’s favorite subject in school is Math. “It just comes easy to me,” said Goodman.
When not at school, Goodman spends his time doing different things such as playing video games like Call of Duty and Battlefield, bowling, and playing pranks with the company of his good friends. For several years now, Goodman has also been taking part in golf and has a strong interest in it.
Another hobby Goodman enjoys taking part in is drumming. He has been playing drums for about five years, after his interest sparked at an early age. “I picked up on drums from my dad,” explains Goodman.
After school is over, Goodman plans on going on to college and finding the right career pathway for him within his college experience. As of right now, the only thing Goodman does in fact know is that he hopes to be a part of a golfing league to further his skills in the sport.
