“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is a wild, emotional ride that shows just how far someone is willing to go for the sake of loved ones. The entire movie, from start to finish, tugs on your heartstrings, while simultaneously keeping you on the edge of your seat.

The movie begins by introducing America Chavez, portrayed by Xochitl Gomez, as a new MCU character from the comics, and how she inadvertently finds her way into the MCU, and is introduced to Doctor Steven Strange and Wong. These three are trying to uncover a mystery: who is hunting America Chavez?

The movie then cuts to Wanda Maximoff, and it doesn’t take long to realize that Wanda is now fully realized as the mythic Scarlet Witch. Maximoff is portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen, who is truly the MVP of this movie. Her portrayal of Wanda, a mother who is looking for her kids in the multiverse, is the best in the movie, and one of the best performances ever from the MCU. Olsen allows the audience to truly connect with Wanda and sympathize with her situation.

Director Sam Raimi, a famous horror movie director, adds his own twist to the movie. The movie adopts Raimi’s signature style, becoming the creepiest, and scariest MCU movie to date. The movie truly is unlike any other MCU, and of the most action packed, exciting MCU movies to date.

Memorable performances of course include Elizabeth Olsen, Xochitl Gomez, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, and Rachel McAdams, who plays Christie Palmer. All of them really know their characters well, and know how to make their characters connect with the audience.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a wild, crazy ride filled with emotional, fantastic performances. The mysterious ending of both main characters alludes to both of their returns in a future MCU installment, which will excite fans everywhere. MCU fans will love this movie, with all the twists and unexpected turns our favorite characters go through as they traverse the Multiverse of Madness.
